Best Day EVER

I'm in Canberra meeting Andrew's family (came up on Friday night) and this morning Andrew suprised me with the news that he had organised for us to meet the Cheetahs at the National Zoo :o) I am rather obsessed with big cats so I nearly fell out of bed in excitement!! We went in with two of the keepers and met 2 Cheetahs. One named Nova (short for November) who was an 18 month old girl Cheetah and her friend Jayma who is a King Cheetah which means he has the recessive gene so he has almost black stripes instead of spots, he is also 18 months old. We had 15 minutes to give them lots of pats and cuddles. They are just like domestic kitties and love having their ears scratched and the chins rubbed. They purred their little (ok big) kitty asses off, kinda sounds like a harley, so deep and loud and rumbly. They have big beautiful orange eyes and the keeper took about 50 photos of us with them which turned out really well :o)

It was the most bestest experience ever! Suprises are awesome, Andrew is awesome YAY!!!

I also found out today what I got into....
SCIENCE at Melbourne :D:D:D:D:D it's exactly what I wanted so that just topped the day off perfectly. I also just realised today is 3 months... WOOO
